In our company with many employees in several countries it is important that everyone knows the company policies on different matters. That is why we have compiled this Code of Conduct, that describes how we act and what it is like to work at Sigma IT, regarding company policy, laws and ethics.
Sigma is a workplace where everyone shall feel secure. To treat everyone equal is obvious to us and we firmly say No to all forms of violation, harassment and discrimination.
Our values are based on gender equality, and we have zero tolerance against deterrent jokes, discriminatory jargon, bullying and offensive statements at work. This applies to all, regardless of role or position. Together we are responsible for ensuring that our workplaces are completely free from harassment and violations. Everyone also has a responsibility for making coworkers, clients, partners and suppliers feel welcome to us.
At Sigma, we have had an Equal Treatment Policy for a long time, where we dissociate ourselves from all forms of harassment, and describe how we work to prevent it.
In addition to the Equal Treatment Policy, there is an overall Equal Treatment Plan (Gender Equality Plan) with measurable goals and concrete measures, which are updated annually. In support of the annual update of the equal treatment plan, this policy contains, in addition to guidelines, a number of examples of concrete actions.
