Our methods are based on many years of experience in consulting and implementing MDM and PIM in various industries. We are convinced that in order to create the best possible solution, we must first understand and define the relevant business processes together with the customer. We do this first, before we start implementing anything.



Through our extensive experience of implementation, configuration and integration projects, we have identified some key success factors.

I Be ready to start the project as soon as possible. Make sure you have contracts and other governing documents in place, resources on board, and your goals formulated and accessible.

II Agree on a project methodology and model that all parties are comfortable with, and experienced in. Although we recommend an agile, iterative approach, do not choose it unless everyone involved understands it, or if it does not match your internal project monitoring.

III Define your strategies as soon as possible. How to handle changes in the organization, how to communicate, migrate data, integrate systems and perform testing.

IV Introductory workshops on overall requirements (Epics, high level User Stories in a Backlog) should cover the entire project scope, and not just the first phase.

V If you have chosen an agile project methodology, do not write a User Story/Use Case that requires more development than can be accommodated within a sprint - rather split it up into smaller parts.

VI The project should include continuous transfer of knowledge, so that internal administrators, support and users can manage the system as soon as possible after you go live.
